Through creatively executed launch campaigns, thought leadership initiatives and reputation management, Kristien has elevated the profiles of numerous companies across industries. A keen strategist, she toggles fluidly between B2B and B2C tactics to maximize her clients’ market positioning.

 

Kristien has been instrumental in launching TV channel brands around the world, her efforts generating significant results for AMC Networks’ Sundance Channel and WE tv, for which she garnered extensive, targeted publicity throughout Asia and Europe. Understanding the evolving technologies and platforms creating new opportunities for channel brands, Kristien also helped MGM roll out its digital channels THIS TV and ME TV with Weigel Broadcasting, and launch MGM HD, the studio’s first branded channel in its storied history.

 

With a background steeped in animation and pop culture, Kristien has achieved great success for such recognized IP franchises as Yu-Gi-Oh!, BEYBLADE BURST, Anime Network, Tokyopop, My Little Pony and Strawberry Shortcake, to name a few. Her thought leadership campaigns in the health care, technology and education industries have increased client visibility by injecting executives – as published and quoted experts – Into the global conversation.

A former journalist whose portfolio includes multiple features in Daily Variety and other entertainment publications, Kristien enjoys using her writing skills to the benefit of her clients by drafting and placing bylines, blog entries and trend stories in outlets such as HuffPost, Fast Company, Entrepreneur, Forbes, SHOOT, Post, Daily Brief and C21 Media, among others.

 

Kristien, who graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor degree in English literature, is a lifelong thrill-seeker with a passion for food, wine and travel.
